Sword Art Online

Synopsis
The only way to escape is to 'clear' the game. Death in game means actual 'death' ----

The ten thousand who have logged onto the as of yet mysterious game 'Sword Art Online' using their Nerve Gear have been forced into this perilous death game and are trapped inside.

Protagonist Kirito, one of the many gamers, has greeted this 'truth'.
He plays as a solo player in the giant castle that is the stage for this game ---- 'Aincrad'.

To meet the conditions of clearing the game and leaving this twisted virtual world, he must get through all 100 floors. Will Kirito have what it takes to clear the game, or will he die trying?


I currently reading the novel and it is interesting to watch a bit similar to accel world however, this one involve the real life of the player.

reminds me of btoom!, .hack series, yureka, and 1/2 prince :D

I was reluctant to try it cause I never liked online RPGs especially when I watched Hack//roots. But after giving this a try, I found myself liking it. It has a different feel to it unlike the other animes with the same setting... in an RPG game. Currently reading the novels xD

Looks promising to me. Lokking forward to this one.

Started to read the novel. Well ang ganda talaga. As if or What na talagang magkakatotoo ito after 10 years.

i have just watched the episode 1. and i must say its EPIC!... another character to add in my favorite list. KAYABA AKIHIKO. ..nice ending song too!.. so far the two characters that have been introduced are kirito and klein.


about the ending song.. it's got a cool video...

i want to have that Nervegear too!

although there is no MAGE SKILLS which is kind of a let down.. but who knows.. im still hoping there is.. there are a lot of unlimited skills... skills that needed sword.. so that's why the title of the anime and the game in the anime is SWORD ART ONLINE! cool!

KAYABA AKIHIKO the one who created the SAO. You may said that one since he decided to sue the feature of SAO which is "No Log-Out" and also I think he is also the GM of the GM.

yes i agree since kayaba is the lead programmer of sword art online. (i don't know how they MASS PRODUCE that(nervegear) without being detected by the government or the other people behind that game unless they are invovled) as i way saying.. since he is the creator of the game and main antagonist of this show perhaps he hacked the game?

but still two thumbs up for the story. i want that game to be real.. but im sure it will be real expensive.. i hope i can be one of the beta-tester.

what? they were warned? was it on the latest part of the novel? that wasn't discussed on the episode 1 or rather in the anime.

I think I seen that one on episode 1 while KAYABA AKIHIKO explains to the players in the Starting City.

Note: KAYABA AKIHIKO is the designer/creator of the nerve gear..so its obvious that he can control the game...in short term he's the GM also they were warned after all gamers logged in inside the game...its really funny when those guys pretending to be cute girls online…so its embarrassing to watch..

well it isn't a warning if they were force to play the game and when they were in the game lol..i'll say they can't do anything about it..it is a scheme .... they were panicking.. and some people die lol.. no one would dare to risk their lives to log in and play the game.. except for the crazy people. lol.ehehe..

what i was trying to say is.. they were in the game before they are warned.
KAYABA is just playing with their lives.. really no sane people/government/parents would let that game be MASS PRODUCE.

ahaha.... atleast they depict the reality and when i saw ahaha.. lol.. it's funny. to those people who created character opposite of their gender ahaha it is embarrasing to them.

KAYABA AKIHIKO has created the nerve gear to see a different world that exceed reality....to surpass it...Aincrad is only the beginning

well in the most part, the romance in SAO is the best i really cried at the ending of vol.01...really touching
