The purpose of this thread is to make a well organized Thread of Anime Discussions rather than making lots of threads about a particular anime. In this way, less Spam threads will be made and it will also help fans of a certain anime talk and discuss the said anime. With everything said lets start off with Durarara!

Synopsis

In Tokyo's downtown district of Ikebukuro, amidst many strange rumors and warnings of anonymous gangs and dangerous occupants, one urban legend stands out above the rest—the existence of a headless "Black Rider" who is said to be seen driving a jet-black motorcycle through the city streets.

Ryuugamine Mikado has always longed for the excitement of the city life, and an invitation from a childhood friend convinces him to move to Tokyo. Witnessing the Black Rider on his first day in the city, his wishes already seem to have been granted. But as supernatural events begin to occur, ordinary citizens like himself, along with Ikebukuro's most colorful inhabitants, are mixed up in the commotion breaking out in their city.

Verdict: This is a great Anime. I really Like how each character has a certain contribution on the development of a story. It's like lots of Web-like Stories are linked in a bigger thread and weaved a great story. One of my points of interests is how each character has a unique and a not much cliche characteristics. From the enigmatic Izaya, berserk Shizuo, russian pacifist Simoun and a very naive Mikado. This anime has lots to offer from Comedy to Action and a little bit of Romance. Nonetheless the story ended up leaving some cliff hangers, it did quite a good job on ending on its last episode.

P.S. My favorite character is Shizuo :D
