Mekakucity Actors - Discussion Thread

Okay, this anime's popularity skyrocketed since episode 1. Meron nga kaagad nagcosplay nitong recent ozine fest (april 25-27 2014). They said this anime was based from the series Kagerou Project which is based from a vocaloid song and I'm not really familiar and I'm clueless lol. I already watched 3 episodes and getting the hang of it.

I find it pretty boring, since i'm not really fond of such boring plotlines. Otherwise, Kido is so much <3.
But, i'll continue on watching this anime. Who knows, the plotline might turn out epic after all.

For me , it has this Steins;Gate kind of feeling , it starts out pretty boring in the first episodes but eventually I find myself wanting to finish it faster because of the "mystery" of their powers , but I'm stuck waiting week after week.
You also shouldn't close your vid if the ending starts playing as the story about the monster at the end definitely is connected to the main story.
The songs are also very amazing the insert songs as welll! It made me look them up to youtube.  And I found this!

The story is so effing twisted. You will be lost in the story just by watching it once. There's a lot of overlapping scene and timeline.

Got a nice colorful bunch of chars and intetesting too plus the song of each chars. Wow. Breathtaking and refreshing i guess.

Oh sa mga tropa. Tagalog na para gets mo. Biro lang. Hirap na ko mag isip e.

Sorry to Mekakucity Actor fans, but I agree with them. Hinintay ko until episode 5 bago ko panoorin ng tuloy-tuloy, but still hindi ko maintindihan maybe I'm expecting more to the anime

Yeah, it's boring at first but nagkakaroon ng mystery as the story goes. Gusto ko ung kakulitan ni Ene hahahahabut I also prefer Kido <3 <3 may pagkatsundere :v hahahaha And also the story about Ayano :3 and I notice something about the characters with powers ... I think halos lahat sila magkaugnay or something :3

Sa una, nakakaconfuse at medyo boring pero pag napakinggan mo na yung mga kanta tsaka nabasa mo na yung manga mas nagiging interesting. Napagtatagpi-tagpi mo na ung mga pangyayari tsaka unting-unting nakikita na yung mga connections nila sa isa't-isa. Naku-curious din ako sa ibang chars. tulad ni Ayano XD

It's a shaft anime (Denpa, Ef, Madoka, Bakemonogatari) - this studio is known for their animation being both great and then having things like...

They are both hated and loved for their unique approach to directing anime, and tbh, a lot of times (with Madoka being the exception) their works have more boring or mundane moments than not. That said, I have not seen this anime yet, but I do plan to watch it soon.

Sinusubaybayan ko kasi yung manga nun tas nung mapanood ko yung episode 1, tinamad na kong ituloy.

This show is really interesting for me because is mystery you may feel like steins;gate at 1st looks like boring. Not suitable for those who are into fan service this show is not for you.

Eto yung Anime na inaabangan ko yung next episode kasi nakakacurious yung mga pangyayari, mapapatanung ka kung ano bang merion? Anong connection sa kanila? basta the best ito

Oooh. I wonder bakit naging boring ang Mekaku City Actors para sa iba? It's dark and a little bit twisted. Pero sige, pag bigyan, siguro hindi niyo pa napanuod lahat ng MVs ng KagePro nuh? I recommend watching them first before you try on mekaku kasi it's so epic. I tell you guys. It's E.P.I.C.!

On my count there are all 21 MVs to be watched all sung by AI and some are of Miku Hatsune. Pero, dapat sobra mawalak ang understanding niyo at super open ang mind niyo kasi nung una ko kong napanuod yung Kagerou days or Heat Haze days, Nasiraan ako ng ulo which is why inulit-ulit ko para maintindihan ko yung story.

Watch the MVs for those who find the Series Boring para naman may gen. Idea kayo on what is happening. :)

The first 2 episodes we're not that good because I can't understand the plot at all pero ... in the latter episodes, it is shown that they are linked to one another.

Ang ganda ng plot. It's very unusual.

"MekakuCity Actors" the anime that has a lot of plot holes , mysteries and theories

at first glance you think it's a failure but not until you watch all of the PV's to understand the whole story

It's very fun covering plot holes , unveiling mysteries and making theories in this anime

We covered up 90% of the anime's plot holes and made up lots of theories

Hindi mo lang ganoon maiintindihan kapag Manga/Anime lang yung binasa/pinanuod mo.
Dapat yung LN nya din tyaka MV.


Nabasa ko na yung Manga niya LN niya (WARNING: Ang habaaaaaa nung LN) tyaka napanuod ko din yung M.V niya. Kaya nung pinanood ko na anime, nag stop na ako sa Ep 02, kasi habang nanonood ako, alam ko na susunod na mangyayare.
