Which version of Pokemon should I have?

First topic message reminder :

There are soooooo many versions of pokemon games ..
Like, Red, Blue, Yellow, White, Black, Gold, Silver, FireRed, LeafGreen, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, SoulSilver, Black 2, White 2, X and Y ..


NOW, WHICH OF THESE SHOULD I HAVE? XD

Start to the oldest and then to the new version :D !

^ I must agree with Bandol, but unfortunately you can't just buy/see/download the old ones specially the really old ones, so maybe you should start by searching the old series, and when you get the plot you can just go and play the new once.


But I must recommend the Ruby and Emerald version. Just a suggestion.
