For Visual Novel Fans

Yeah Its my Hobby downloading VN.........and yet I really don't Play this Stuff.....Just hobbyist collecting games instead of buying its CD'S ....

Reality Is that its hard to find cd games here in Phil...... finding 1 is rare.........

Tips:

Punta muna kayo sa FAQ......... para malaman kung paanu ma japannese locale yung Pc magmula sa Windows XP Hanggang sa windows 7 (Palang)

At paanu gamitin and DAEMON TOOLS LIGHT ....... yeah di lahat ng games kailangan i mount pero yung iba di mo malalaru kung wala ito so I reccomend to download it first......

At yung ibang game kailangan ng fix....english at voice Patch na mahahanap mo rin sa site na ito.......

Yeah, I would also be recommending this site as I get almost all of of Bishoujo games here... It's actually pretty clean with no viruses, and the only thing that you may hate is the pop up advertisements but hey it's just a little price to pay considering that you are getting a game (even english patched games) :)

Though I haven't read the rules yet (as I am still new here), I'm not pretty sure if putting up a link in a forum is allowed whereas most forums prohibit doing that. :D

My friend were actually addicted to eroge game, he's been posting a lot about it. I agree that Visual Novel here in Philippines is rare, can't find them.

Visual Novel ? I know my question is kind'a silly but ...

what's the difference between the Visual Novel and Light Novel ?
Are they the same ?
Sorry never heard kasi 'yung visual novel thingy ...

Basically
Visual Novel is an application or something like a game(interactive fiction game) with voices, pictures and stuffs which depicts the story.
While Light Novel is like a book (a huge one) with words and pictures only that depicts the story.

yeah. as the guy above said, visual novel got visuals (LOL including ero scenes) and voices (some games includes voices for ero scenes FAP FAP FAP).

You must download the parts.........must have en extractor......like winrar....its there

DAEMON tools, not all games there need it........but some does........

well, you could always go to ren'py.com or something like that or go to youtube and get links. Like the VN ALWAYS REMEMBER ME. Got it from youtube. it's a really nice game. You will just have to type....full free download of always remember me or stuff and there you go.

Erogedownload is the way to go .. If you're getting it from elsewhere .. I suggest you be a little careful lest you risk the possibility of contracting a virus ..

I wanna ask. Does Eroge downloads have viruses? (I know its too late to ask since I've already downloaded tons)

Renpy also does good. But there are times that its hard to find persitent files in order to get full version. Haha

Well if its visual novel. I recommend second reproduction (can be also downloaded from ErogeDL)

And yeah. They also have english patch for Starry Sky~ In Sping

I've been downloading Vns or eroges for so long, and I think the only problems occur to me was some directx, some .net issues, some audios if its your download was corrupted, and some required fonts so that the VNs spacings of text on dialogue box don't screw up... Just to make sure read all the other user's comments before you download it... I have Second Reproduction to, but I have no time to play it, whats genre is it? I've downloaded it because its a small file...

Thanks to google, we can update or fix those kinds of problems. If you want to translate a VN that is still not translated or that do not have patches, why not use Atlas V14? It is easy to download and it does have a trial remover patch. Just follow the instructions on how to use it.. Me? Well I'm using Atlas V14.. The problem is the translated sentences. You need to understand it. Haha (You'll know what I mean if you try it!) If you have questions regarding Visual Novels, ask anyone here again :)

I experience it too ...I've try translating some sentence (I think its on CM3D since I have tools to extract some dialogue at that time), and I got confuse, Its pretty weird, its unexpected result for such a short sentence... .saw

BTW, Does anyone tried a VNreader?

Right now, I'm checking the status of Vns and Eroges on Fuwanovel and craneanime(its updating every week) you'll see how many scripts that was translated or its percentage of completion... I believe Fuwanovel always the first to release the Vns and eroges and always have a news if there is a new patch(es) for a certain game(s)... Whilst Craneanime releases unstranslated Vns and eroges...

The bad part on this two was Fuwanovel always uses Torrent(no need for Installation) and craneanime always loses there files(invalid/deleted files) even though they have a password... But they always updated in information...

most of my VNs are from Fuwanovel. for me it's not bad for Fuwanovel to use torrents coz they have decent seeders and it's easy to maintain IMO. but Fuwanovel doesn't have a full collection of VNs unlike Erogedownload.

hmmm. haven't tried Craneanime yet.

PS: if Fuwanovel should continue to use torrent, why not adopt the system of bakabt.
