I already watched this Movies, but L died their... Was he sacrificed his life to save the humanity? :3 Sorry i didn't remember some of the scenes...

no... this is how L died

when L knows that light already know his real name, using misa amane's deatnote L write his name without a specific way on how to die knowing deathnote rule "writting "just" only name in deathnote without any specific way on how he/she die, is subjected to 23 days interval after that day the name written and death by only means of heart attack" its a default way on how deathnote kill people with only name was written..

but why did L write his name on the deathnote?

because he know that he will not last long because Light already know his name and soon to kill him. writting his (L) name in the deathnote is the only way he knows to extend and be prepared for his death knowing the deathnote's rule "no name must be repeated in the deathnote, the 1st name is the only executable"

Ken'ichi Matsuyama as L...the best.
