Anime Festival Asia Philippines

Have you ever wish to have AFA here in the Philippines? 
Iba naman din kasi ang level ng con na to. Sabi nyo nga parang pare-pareho na lang ang con dito sa pinas yearly. Wish ko magkaroon dito ng ganitong level ng anime con. Kelan kaya tayo makaka invite ng mga hardcore celebrity and jpop/jrock idols >.< For those who have attended AFA in Singapore or Indonesia, how does it feel? how can you differentiate it from our anime con here?

naku wish ko nga maka-attend ng AFA..for sure mahal ticket niyan dahil sa mga guest at performers nila...if ever gawin yan dito marami pupunta..xD

AFA has changed me. The first time I went to AFA was in 2010 and ever since then I would make it a point to go every year. I have also gone to AFA malaysia(to see KOTOKO) and AFA Indonesia(for Aya Hirano).The concert atmosphere is just awesome. The best example is LiSA's songs. I used to just like LiSA's angel beats songs. But when she performs live it becomes an unforgetable experience. The crowd gets pumped up and everyone sings along. You jump along with the music and you wave your lightstick in unison with the crowd. Then you feel certain songs are now no longer worth listening to in your mp3 player since the live experience like Nana Mizuki and TMR's duet version of heart of sword. Sometimes you get to be part of history like in egoist's concert last year where chelly was singing while controling Guilty Crown's Inori projection. You get to meet the artists and other people too and sometimes you get lucky enough to get handshake sessions and thank them. AFA is always an event that has made me happy that I became an otaku in this generation.

I suggest you try to attend this year's AFA maybe start saving from now? With the coming of Nana Mizuki and Egoist last year, AFA has evolved further and now you can say that most likely any jpop artist is possible now. We thought there was no way these two artists would come since Nana is arguably the anisong queen and would be very expensive and egoist's singer chelly hasn't even shown her face. Its really exciting what this year will bring.

8k flight +1k per night hostel +14k VIP ticket for 3 days yung base I guess. Yung ibang gastos depende kung collector ka or gusto mo yung autographed cds and stuff.

ang lake. matagal pa bago ako makaipon ng ganyan kalakeng halaga. pero worth it naman kung makita mo mga idol mo, and your fellow otaku.

Pinakamahal na vip ticket is afa singapore, yung 1 day ticket ng afa singapore is almost 3 days ticket na ng afa indonesia. Well I've been an otaku for more than 10 years now and I've faced the fact that these events are what makes me happy so I am willing to spend for these events. I also thought that the anime industry has given me a lot of things and its time I give back by supporting the actual artists and creators in these events and of course have a good time in the process.

well sana kahit hindi afa mismo. maabot lang ng ozine fests and best of anime con ang ganitong level
