[Anime in January 2014] Noragami

According to the November issue of Monthly Shonen Magazine, TV Anime of Noragami (ノラガミ) will be aired in January 2014. Written by Adachitoka (あだちとか), Noragami is a Japanese Manga revolves around Yato, a minor God who wish to have lots of followers worshipping him, and a high school girl Hiyori Iki who seek help from Yato. Produced by BONES, the TV Anime adaptation of the series was first announced back in June this year. Main cast including Hiroshi Kamiya, Maaya Uchida and Yuuki Kaji was announced in the magazine along with other big names like Jun Fukuyama and Aki Toyosaki. Guess we have a lot to expect.



Story

At the boundary between this realm and another, there live eight million gods, dead spirits who serve the gods, and other assorted spirits who help and meddle in the affairs of humans. A sweet middle school girl named Hiyori Iki has been enduring bullying from her classmates, and she goes to the restroom by herself to cry. Scrawled on the bathroom wall is a phone number and the message, “I solve your troubles.”

After Hiyori calls the number, she encounters a homeless boy wearing a jersey who calls himself a God. The boy, named Yato, is rough, moody, lazy, and never listens to anyone’s wishes, but he had the power to be a God… that no one knew of.

Story seems nice, I look forward to it.

episode 1 is released, i've been reading the manga long ago.. i recommend this nice plot and some slice of life :) good action also

it's action/adventure/shounen/supernatural with some comedy and "serious business" stuff sprinkled here and there ;3 The OVA was super funny!
