Hmmm...i think there are more reasons that are yet to be revealed? or maybe his ability to persuade people easily makes the marines afraid that someday he might reunite all pirates and convince them to attack the marine headquarters? LOL dunno XD /?2

It's possible. Maybe the Marines were afraid on that to happen so they made him into Shichibukai. :))

Nung nasa Marine HQ yung mga pirates nakalive broadcast yun sa whole world. tapos dba pnapalabas ni buggy na sya nagpalaya sa mga prisoners sa impel down. tsaka para makuha mo din ang shichibukai rank dapat dba gumawa sya ng name. and i think dahil dun.. though di naman sya tlga ang nagpalaya e si Luffy naman talaga. :D
