Contrary to rumors stating that Sony would abandon the numbering structure for its next-gen console, the next PlayStation will, indeed, be called the PlayStation 4. Not only that, but it appears that it'll be using the same basic branding that the PlayStation 3 has been using as of late, going as far as to simply replace the "3" in the logo with a "4."

Playstation 4...I would call something that is outside the usual Playstation environment

It's maybe the reason they completely removed PS 2
