Kara no Kyoukai Movie (2006 - 2009)

It is a series of movies (ALL 7)
Mikiya Kokuto finds himself intrigued by two things. The first is by Shiki Ryougi a beautiful, yet rather unsociable, girl and the other is the strange series of violent deaths that start occuring in his town. As he attempts to get closer to Shiki, he soon learns that the two are connected and that there are many supernatural forces at work which could very likely get him killed as well.

And Oh... The OVA of Kara no Kyoukai: Epilogue ... released last February 2nd 2011

(NOTE: The main theme of Kara no Kyoukai is Murder. There is quite a lot of blood in this series. There are also depictions of people committing suicide, limbs getting chopped off (not as bad as Elfen Lied), and a pretty graphical r*pe scene in Movie 3)

At first, I'm addicted to CLAMP and Studio Pierrot , but not a fan of TYPE-MOON.

Well, a friend of mine invited me to watch the first episode (Share all 4 episodes)...
I've been expecting more Shounen on it, but its not. I like the graphics.... Soooo amazing.... action scenes is short but Cool!
I've been start'n liked it After watching the first movie; I like all the characters especially Mikiya-kun (epoy17don's avatar) cute niya kase; and also Ryougi Shiki.

For me, I recommed this anime to watch during Holloween seasons, if you're broken hearted or want to cry, try watching it. (not for 18 years below)... Para sa lahat ng mga emos-goths na mahilig din sa anime, please watch this one!!! adults can watch this too..

I cried on the last part of the 3rd movie... Something happened kasi (unexpected).

I consider this movie series a masterpiece...lots of drama and suspense in every episode that you can hardly notice it's about an hour long...or longer. I think the fact that the movies are not arranged chronologically also helps add to the overall impact. :)

I've watched all of those at youtube 2 years ago. It was interesting but a bit confusing at first. I wasn't sure what the main goal of the characters are and are they really good or bad? What's up with the guys always bringing ice cream? hahahaha I was confused for the first 3 parts.

Yup, it can be confusing at first since it's not chronological but it all comes together in the end. :)

I think it is better to watch the series by order of its release, though - 1 to 7...while it may be confusing at first, the confusion gradually clears up and the build-up of the suspense contributes to the overall impact of the series :)

hmmmm... i agree on you on that... Only the first 4 movies are out of order anyway and the rest are in chronological order...
