[Steins;Gate] Film on April 20, 2013

The official Steins;Gate (シュタインズ ゲート) website announced today that the Steins;Gate Fuka Ryoiki no déjà-vu (劇場版 シュタインズゲート 負荷領域のデジャヴ) movie will be available on April 20, 2013. Steins;Gate is about a group of friends who have innovated their microwave so that it can send text messages into the past. Here is the movie’s teaser:



Steins;Gate aired from March 6, 2011 to September 14, 2011 with a total of 24 episodes. A special, Steins;Gate: Egoistic Poriomania (シュタインズ ゲート 横行跋扈のポリオマニア) aired on February 22, 2012 and is about the team’s adventures in America. The show is currently on my top ten list and if you have not watched the show yet, I recommend you do. If you have tried watching it and dropped it due to the first few episodes, please pick it up again! The show was really slow at the beginning but it’s totally worth it! The characters were hands down brilliant and very well developed, the show was very well-researched and it made the concept of time travel very interesting for me.
