Once upon a time at the South gate of the Celestial Realm, the land was ruled by the corrupted god known as the Jade Emperor who defied by the heavens because of his thirst for power. Countless wars emerged during his reign, instilling fear and terror into the once peaceful land. All races who tried to resist him have been banished or executed. Fear descends upon the land at South gate until the Tang Dynasty.

A ray of light came down upon Mount Huaguo (Mountain of Flowers and Fruits) in the Kingdom of Ao Lai. A mythical stone formed from the primal forces of chaos has absorbed the divine energy from the heavens, that mythical stone transformed into a monkey with extraordinary powers and it is known as Son Goku which means “Awakened to emptiness”. Subodhi of the Ethereal mount, who is known as the Taoist Immortal and master of ancient magic, believed that Son Goku is the paladin that will end the ruthless reign of the great Jade Emperor. Elder Bodhi taught the Monkey King various mystical powers of the elements and the art of morphing into 72 different objects. Soon, Son Goku reigned as the Monkey King with his beautiful love Zixia Fairy and called himself the “Great Sage Equals to Heaven”.

Not satisfied with his repetitive life. Son Goku allied with the 72 demons kings of earth to demonstrate their power against Heaven and proving himself as an equal to the Jade Emperor. They wreak havoc in Heaven such as ruining the Queen Mother of the West banquet stealing items such as the magical pills from an old sage, devouring all the divine peaches, Son Goku began showing off and demonstrating his abilities from left to right. No one can’t stop him even the Jade Emperor is helpless about the situation except Buddha. As punishment for his wrong doings, Buddha imprisoned Son Goku under Mount Wuxing (Five Fingers Mountain) and sealed d it with a talisman.

The Taoist Immortal heard about Son Goku’s situation and pleaded to Bodhisattva, the gate keeper in Mount Wuxing, to release Son Goku. In exchange for his freedom, Bodhisattva gave Son Goku a duty to protect the Tang Monk during his journey to the west. The Monkey King faced various challenges and countless demons on his quest to obtain the sacred scriptures; he was then given the title Buddha of War for his valor.

When he returned to Mount Huagao, Zixia Fairy informed Son Goku about the Jade Emperor's plan to use the Demon Furnace to refine and absorb all the demon souls that the Monkey King have defeated to gain power that is beyond imagination and to be able to rule the universe unchallenged. Upon hearing the news, Son Goku left Mount Huagao to unite all the different races that the Jade Emperor have banished in the South gate

While Son Goku is away, the Jade Emperor attacked Mount Huagao killing everyone and abducted Zixia Fairy to the South gate. Furious for revealing his plans, the Jade Emperor throws Zixia Fairy inside the Demon Furnace.

When Son Goku heard what happened in Mount Huagao and to his love, he furiously led the four races: Naga, Netherese, Asura and Kitsune to attack the Celestial Realm. Due to the unstoppable assault of the Monkey King's forces, the Jade Emperor used all of his powers that caused the Demon Furnace to explode.

Before the Demon Furnace exploded, Zixia Fairy used the magical Moon Box and transported the four races back in the time before Son Goku’s Journey to the West in hopes of changing the fate of the Monkey King.

Yet how would the four races be able to change the Monkey King’s destiny? There is seems to be a much greater power behind the Jade Emperor, could their journey back to the past become an even greater danger?

Will the four races fight for peace or will they fight each other to become the supreme ruler? Their battle against the Jade Emperor has only just begun.

To Launch the game. Just go to root installation folder Forbidden Kingdom Online\launch and open the Launcher.exe
