Your Opinion About "Cosplay is not for all."

First topic message reminder :

Pinanood ko yung bagong MV ng Kamikazee na Wo-oh featuring the cosplayers from TOYCON 2012. Nabasa ko yung ilang comments dun about sa mga cosplayers na hindi raw para sa lahat ang cosplaying. Nagco-cosplay daw yung karamihan, di naman daw kamukha yung character na ginagaya nila o di bagay sa kanila. What can you say about this?

Walang basagan ng trip,, lahat pwedeng magcosplay. =) ,, ndi na man dapat na gaya mo ung anime character eh,,, enjoy lang, katuwaan lang to and for all otakus out there, cosplay is a very importnt part of their world,, Our world. =)

in short, mahahangin lang talaga sila,..

Tamah.. Hope na ma.understand nila kung ano ang trip ng taong gustong magcosplay.

I believe cosplay is for everyone, regardless of race, status, appearance etc. I've been defending the average to poor cosplayers on the iBilib FB page from all the elitists on there. Thank goodness they toned their insults down a bit.

Cosplay is looking like the character and acting like the character. But not only that. You also have to enjoy wholeheartedly what you are doing. This is what's most important, accuracy is just second. Sadly, not all cosplayers understand this and look down on other cosplayers who don't do well as expected. As some of you said, cosplayers are not meant to please you. Cosplay is a hobby meant to entertain oneself. IMO, if the person wants to use cosplay to earn money, bahala sya. To gain fame, fine, as long as he/she is still enjoying the art of cosplay while doing it. Just leave the person be.

Also, I must share this page. This British cosplayer also believes that cosplay is for everyone, even the handicapped.

cosplay is for the people who has passion for it and NOT sa pagiging uso or for the sake na maging kamukha ni Alodia.

Cosplay is For all for me :) walang pinipiling edad or what so ever, uo sbhin na nting Weird pero dian mu ma eexpress ung freedom, friendship and cooperation ng grupo :D(and Confidence) khit na hndi same na same tlga or i meean kamukhang kamukha mu tlga ung kinocosplay mu , as long as ine-enjoy mu ung ginagawa mu, matatawag kang cosplayer :)
