Favorite Final Fantasy Game

First topic message reminder :

Hi guys, just wondering if you ever played a final fantasy game. If so, what is your favorite entry in the series? Mine is FFVIII since it was the very first FF I ever played and that was what got me into RPG's. Followed very closely by FFIX because the story and music in that game is just too damn good!!! Anyway, share your thoughts guys..

Final Fantasy Tactics is the best!!!
Pero maganda rin naman ang FFVII.

Final Fantasy 2 ........ My fav........ even it is have a very short story it has challenging maps designs...........




Yeah its the black sheep series

It might sound overrated but favorite FF game would be FFVII, it's a pretty cliche game but it brought Square it's golden era. Other than that, FFX would be my next pick.

I've only played X and XII and never had the chance to finish them
but they're the reason why i'm so addicted to JRPG's nowaday.

i tried to play them through an emulator before(5 years ago i guess?) and they never worked for me

Try playing VIII and IX for character development, touching music and awesome stories.

Both final fantasy XIII and XIII-2's game play are more on strategy...
I'm talking about like (sentinel,medic,synergist,commando,ravager,Saboteur etc)
though it's true that the old style is better cause its the "FF style", the only thing that i don't like about the final fantasy XIII and XIII-2 are the summons... Cool graphics but limited...

but for me Final fantasy 7,8 and 9 are still the best ... haha XD

FXIII and FXIII-2 are too technical....as if they trying to beat the Xenosaga series or something

Me too,what's important is the story even if the graphics are mediocre. If the characters aren't lovable,it's a tough sell. Plus the music pieces from the ff in the ps era are godlike. So yeah, VII,VIII,IX and X are the golden years of FF but i still have faith they can turn it around. just please make LR the final Lightning story so we can move into new things.

The story's of the previous final fantasy has always something to do with magic or being a god (for FFIX kuja)...but now FFXIII...planets and robots...

Since I've mention kuja's name...If you were give a chance again to fight an FF antagonist...who would that be...

For me I would choose Kuja, Edea's counterpart (forgot her name) and sephiroth
