Part - 5 : Defeat
At last. Daylight. I didn't sleep at all last night. The damn thing hovered on top of me for a good five minutes by my count. It could've been hours, hell, I was too busy concentrating on not pissing my pants. I packed up my stuff first thing in the morning. I called up the client saying I was ready to leave. I wasn't prepared to face whatever was in that house. I just knew that whatever it was, I'll have to come back to it. I swore to myself and the client, that I will return someday. I made my way out of that room without looking back. I went back into the car and drove off. As I was about to make the turn towards the main road, I took one last look back at the house. I didn't know if it was the sun in my eyes, but I swear, I saw the little boy with the bread knife waving at me from the window in my room.

This time, he had scratch marks all over his face. I sped off towards the main road before I could see anything else. I swear, I'll go back there. I swear.
