the story is about the cute girl named pai the last sanjiyan unkara who travels to tokyo from tibet to look for professor fujii's son shortly after her stay a thief tries to snatch her bag but was stopped by the young yakumo who dresses up as a girl and works in a bar. yakumo turns out to be the son of professor fujii who was a researcher of artifacts and the history of sanjiyan unkaras but fells ill and die, with a letter for yakumo he sends pai to be taken care of yakumo and to aid her find the artifacts which could turn her into a human and forget his past life as a sanjiyan unkara.
