in the future kasi i wanted to be a cosplayer, and yet di pa ako nahakbang sa goal nayan, habang di pa ako nakahakbang, gusto ko talagang malaman anything about cosplaying and something related to it :3

It's not that hard to cosplay. Its putting it all together that's kind of the tricky part. If you're just starting (or will start) you would probably have problems with money (unless you're filthy stinkin' rich). Creativeness and flexibility is important.

Would advise to join groups that cosplay as the things you like first. It's a good first time experience for 'newborn' cosplayers xD (I know because I just tried. Went to Ozine 2014 with some friends and I found it really fun )

Realizing that you totally need the confidence and the character's background since there are a lot of people who would suddenly tap you on your shoulder and ask for a picture of you.

I wouldn't say that cosplay is hard. It's fun...but it is expensive. =w= A good costume that is complete and already made can run you at least $100. If you can make your own cosplay, it may be cheaper, but it will require your own time and energy. ^-^

I agree with Miyuki-chan~

If you want to cosplay. You must have these things.

1. Confidence. Yup, kakapalan ng mukha. JOKE. Just do your thing, be confident enough to be able to cosplay your character properly. Di requirement kung maganda o pogi ka (dahil hindi naman to pagmomodel,kundi pagpapakita ng passion sa animes/games), basta you had the courage to walk into conventions as your favorite character is a thumbs-up na already :ttu:

2. Money. Be rich, haha. JOKE ULIT /hehe

Nah, seriously speaking, kahit gano mo pa gustuhin magtipid, kahit todo tipid ka na sa mga gamit mo. Mahina na yung 2k na gastos kada cosplan. Normal na gastusin na ng mga cosplayers ang 4k every cosplan kung lahat ng equipments niya bago. Try to prepare in advance. Wag din papalit-palit ng cosplan para di nasasayang yung time na binuhos mo sa pagiisip ng nauna mong cosplan~

3. Cospartner/ Cosgroup. For starters this is really helpful. Try encouraging your bestbuddy to cosplay too para partner kayo. Hahaha /hehe

OR try joining cosplay groups. don't be shy, tandaan mo pare-pareho lang din kayong may passion sa pagccosplay.

depende naman yan kung sinong anime character i co~cosplay mo meron kasi ibang character na kailangan ng madaming preparations saka meron din character madali lng i cosplay

mostly, ang pinakang kailangan na malaki is time. next pa ang money and effort.
nagtry kami magpatahi ng SnK jacket, it took a month, mabilis na yun kumpara sa ibang costume, bago namin makuha. maganda naman yung kinalabasan. Sa budget, medyo malaki-laki din ang kakailanganin kung magcocosplay.
