Middle school 2nd year, Amano Yukiteru, is a boy who has problem making friends. He thinks of himself as a bystander and will always write down everything he sees in a cell phone diary.

Tormented by solitude, Yukiteru began to imagine things like a friend called Deus Ex Machina who is apparently the Lord of Time & Space. Seeing Yukiteru's miserable state, Deus gives him a new ability. His diary will now record events that will happen in the near future. Yukiteru is then forced to participate in a game which the winner will become Deus's successor.

Really, I can't believe this anime isn't posted here yet. I mean this is one of the most epicly awesome animes out there (in my opinion) and I was literally taken off my seat just watching it and spent hours in front of my computer screen asking myself how did the author pull such an amazing twist in the story. The plot looks so simple but it turns out there is more to it than just a mere innocent boy participating in a God game he doesn't even want to be involved in... so much more...

Well, I just wanted to know what you guys think of this anime for those who watched, and also recommend for those who are into sci-fi action and psychological twists...

when i read the word "TWIST"

the only thing that came into my mind is " i would like to see this Anime.. but my problem i don't know what is the anime title"

This anime is awesome! It has the full package. Every character is unique. Also, Yuno is one of the greatest yandere for me.

Same here.. I was like. "WHAAAAT? SERIOUSLY? O.o" and then just laughed. No wonder why he wants to help Yukiteru that much. He even called Yukiteru his beloved. >.<
