[Suggestion] List of members who changed username

suggest ko lang na may mggawa ng thread listing members who changed their username, the original username should be listed too of course.

nakakalito kasi minsan kpag ang isang member ay ngpalit ng username di mo na kilala ang kausap mo. This would also be helpful for members on hiatus... you get what I mean ^_^.

I think this is a nice idea, on the contrary, a thread which monitors the members changing their usernames will be difficult. Since the members desicions are uncontrollable, changing names are randomly done without prior time and notice. The updates of the thread will be a monumental task, as a forum moderator, I can do it, but it will be difficult for me or us to monitor it. In addition, changing of userames can be only monitored by the forumation easily. We are doing BB Codes when doing updates, though I am used to it is still a task needed to be careful at.

Yes I agree, You can buy it at the Forum Shop and Free for Premium Membership and TNMAA Finests Membership and some staffs can change theirs too. The threads' list for the Usernames, will be possible but as to monitoring is not so easy. Let's just wait what the administrators can say, maybe they have a solution or they can have a thread like this.

I agree with you sir. Maybe if this thread will be implemented ADMIN should be the one who will monitor, its because they are the only one who can change the username :evil:

IMO, changing our usernames have different purpose.

Some users do it because they want to stylized their name, and some are intentionally changing their name just to hide themselves to other users. So I'm not sure if we really need to do this list thing.

But I'd like to suggest a Rule regards with changing the name of the users.

Regular Members + Non-Premium = Changing their names using coins + w/o any time limit.
Regular Members + Premium = Changing their names using their privilege as a Premium + w/o any time limit.
Staffs + Non-Premium = Changing their names using coins + w/o any time limit.
Staffs + Premium = Changing their names using their privilege as a premium + Can only change their name Once in 3 Months.

(This is to avoid confusion. But I've thought some exceptions, and this is to use their COINS if they can't resist not to change their name, even though they have this Premium Privilege.)

Anyway that's just my suggestion. Violent reactions are welcome. :)

Members has their own reasons just what Roar said.
And you can just ask if you are confused or something. Yes this is a good idea but I don't think the forum needs this now.

The only problem is, the users will abuse the change name if it is free. :\

This is a good suggestion but I don't also agree with this. Like Admin Prism said,they have their own reasons why they have to Change their usernames. If there are confusions,maybe you just have to ask them co'z you can't stop them if they really want to change their usernames,right?

Guess no one agrees to my suggestion. Though I do understand what everyone is saying, what I get is why would someone want to change their username just to hide from others? why not just make a new account? It would just be the same right? making a new account and changing your username.

Definitely not, unless if your account is newly created and you really need to change your name.

Some factors why do users change their name instead of creating new acct.

1) Post Counts
2) Reputation
3) Points
4) Coins
5) Friends?
6) Join Date?
7) E-mail, even though we can change our e-mail. But not all user knows this. And some users only have limited e-mail.
