[Maoyuu Maou Yuusha] Spice and Wolf meets Dragon Quest

According to Famitsu, the TV Anime adaptation of Maoyuu Maou Yuusha (まおゆう魔王勇者, Demon Queen and Hero, also known as Spice and Wolf meets Dragon Quest) was announced. Written by Mamare Touno (橙乃 ままれ), Maoyuu Maou Yuusha is a Japanese fantasy light novel revolves around Yuusha (Hero) and Maou (Demon Queen) who live in a world where humans and demons are at war. Unlike the other traditional story, this time, our Yuusha works together with Miss.Maou, and you might imagine what the story will become, probably a love comedy. The series was firstly began on 2ch in 2009 and later published in 2010, as well as several Manga adaptations. Also if you check out the cast list, you can see a lot of familiar names for the upcoming CD, including those major cast of Code Geass (no, Leluoch will be Yuusha instead of Maou this time) and Spice and Wolf, and we can more or less expect the same staff will be introduced for the Anime.

Story
The story centers on the characters Maou (Demon Queen) and Yuusha (Hero) who live in a world where humans and demons are at war. Yuusha confronts Maou about the destructive war that the demons have imposed on humans. However, Maou tells him that the war has created a reason for humans to work together and improved human society overall. She convinces him that humans would fall into a bloody civil war without their battles against the demons. To prevent such a conflict, Yuusha decides to join forces with Maou.
