What Kind of Music Do You Like?

I like music that I can understand not only the lyrics but also the meaning. I have a wide range of genre that I like, starting from religious songs to tribal songs. But my favorites would be alternative rocks.

Post-hardcore, EHM, Electronic, Pop Punk and some acoustics, preferrably not too mainstream

i listen to any genre but mostly, i prefer rock... alternative, punk, pop rock, a little on metal and stuffs.. i'm into JRock, Visual Kei and JPop, too..
it doesn't matter if i don't understand the lyrics (i've got tons of Japanese, German, Korean and a few Russian and Chinese songs) what matters to me is what i felt while listening to that particular song.. though i do search for translations from time to time..

if its game effect sounds, try Fading by The Title. Might that be on the same genre, it just meant I'm listening to nintendocore without me knowing about it.

nakarelate ako sayo.XD when i first heard this genre, naadict nalang ako bigla.XD
pero yung ibang nintendocore bands trip trip lang yung tunog eh.XD

The Title is good IMO, but is lacking recognition. I don't think these guys are still making music as of now. The last song I knew from them is titled Fire Kite.

its not that im not mainstream, it is the songs that are not :)

mainstream is just too generic. many of these mainstream music doesn't deserve the recognition they have now. at least that's what i thought.
