As a graduating student, my time reading manga has been shortened for some obvious reasons. But reading manga is my habit and a habit is so hard to break..

By short story... you mean one shots? If it is I could recommend Celeste Blue, it's a very cute one shot and also some works by Amano Shinobu.

Akaneiro Ni Somaru Saka -11 chapters (if you watch the anime of it, the ending is sooo different)
Ga-Rei -30 chapters
Ayan pa lng ung mga na-iisip ko
