Setting up an Animated Avatar and Signature
Sun Jun 16, 2013 5:14 pm
*This is also a guide on how to upload Animated Images (GIF File Format Images)
First, I'd like to remind everyone that we have our Standard/Maximum size for Avatars and Signatures. And please be guided by the following:
[quote]
Avatar: 148 (in width) x 250 (in height)
Signature: 500 (in width) x 250 (in height)[quote]
Uploading the Image and Obtaining the URL of Image
Second, You'll need to upload them on Image Hosting Website that supports GIF File Format. After that, upload the image you want on the Hosting Website you selected.
Then there are several ways on how to get the link of an image, and it depends on the Hosting Website. Try to follow some of the ways on how to obtain the link of an image.
TIP: When you think that you already obtained the Direct Link. Try to paste the link at the URL Bar of the browser then press enter (see if the image is animated), OR simply paste the link anywhere that will show the link itself, if the link ends with .gif, then you're doing a good job.
After that, please select on how are you going to use the Link:
