I see a lot of posting here for Clannad and Angel beats.
Those were made from a Company called Key which actually started off in the
Hentai game business.

Two of the Hentai games were converted for anime and both are emotionally to watch. One is called Kanon that comes in 2 flavors as 12 ep version and because it was SO popular it was redone into a 24 ep series. The 2nd one is called Air and it is brutal to watch at the end, it has the ability to make you Ball like a child at the end...

The reasons one would take large spoiler tags but let it be said they are well written and are designed to really tug at your heart strings, KEY especially is known for that...

I think one of the first for me would be Nurse Angel Ririka SOS which comes from the 90s though...
