Homosexuality

I feel like ranting, and here I am.
don't worry, i'll keep it child friendly...maybe.

So I have been thinking...why are people so against Homosexuality? why is that Same-Sex Marriage is frowned upon (not all, but yeah...you get the point)?

Is it because it's not normal? Immoral?
What is normal anyway?
In what part is it Immoral?
please, enlighten me. because I've dying to know why people are setting up boundaries on what they think is 'normal'

Why is it that some people actually think Homosexuality is a disease that can be cured?

Do you know how hard it is to break out to your family that you are gay/lesbian?
Now put yourself in their shoes,

you first learn about your attraction to the same sex... it's scary. why? because then you think to yourself that you are not normal, a freakshow.

you then try to deny it, but the more you turn your back on it the harder it hits.
and there's no easy road to acceptance because you feel that something is wrong

you can't confide with someone that easily. especially the ones close to you because you think to yourself on what would their reaction be..and will things be the same once you've come out of that stuffy closet.

I guess I'm just upset about close minded people, and yes...I do have a lot of gay friends that tell me about their problems, how they're not easily accepted in communities whenever they go hand-in-hand with their boyfriends. How that lump in their throat feels whenever people give them strange looks as if they're filthy.

Nothing's wrong with it.. As long as your in a good social life

Homosexuality is a term used for people who are inlove with same sex. Same sex relationships are tend to be taboo even in the older days until now. People can't understand the idea of being one, so, they dealt them as a immoral and ungodly act! Why? Is this the truth? I don't think it would be disappointing for us to judge people who are like this. I feel upset that people are against them, I admit I have friends like these and I found them true and happy to be with. I love them as my friend. They are good people, they should not be condemned as religious people tend to do. I really disagreeing people that homosexuality is immoral- I already proved, it is not! They are just people like us, people with emotions and thinking, they can be hurt and they can also be depressed. I hate people people who are judgemental and tend to think just inside the box! Embrace the changed guys, people who always fail tend to fall. Don't be just narrow and closed, kindly open them to see other people's situation not only yours.

I think Homosexuality is very common this modern day... Considering this a Taboo is rather kind of stupid(my opinion). Since I was a high school boy, I have respect on those guys that on this, because they are brave enough to show it...

well, i think (my opinion) that the reason people are against homosexuals because some of them are slutty. Thats why some boys, older adults (u know with the filipino traditions and cultures) and some girls loathe them. :)
