What is a Seiyū?
Seiyū is the Japanese term for voice actor or actress - whether in animation, radio, dubbed non-Japanese films, etc. In Japan, seiyū are often less anonymous as artists than voice actors in the West.

my favorites are
Kana Hanazawa (Nadeko Sengoku/Hasegawa Kobato/Sonohara Anri)
One of the cutest voice I've ever heard and she's also a versatile Seiyū, she played a lot of different roles with different personalities.

Tomokazu Sugita (Gintoki Sakata/Kyon)
Sugita is one of the funniest voice I've ever to heared, he has a natural humor in his voice, and is also great in narration.

Kamiya Hiroshi (Orihara Izaya/Koyomi Araragi/Nozomu Itoshiki)
Sharp and mostly wicked tone, that's what I like about Kamiya, he voiced almost all of my favorite characters. truly fascinating.

I just wanna add this. Please limit your answer into 3 Seiyū, because I want to redefine here the word favorite, and please include details.

you can't just throw names and expect us to recognize them.

Kana Hanazawa ( that kuudere in Angel Beats I forgot her name but she was called Tenshi in the early part of the anime, i dont like to search for it so im just going to type it out, the snake girl in Bakemono, Shiori in Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai, what else ... that tsundere in Magi , the princess of kou empire something like that )

Wakamoto Norio
He's an old voice actor but he had a very remarkable voice, slow, manly and definitely hard boiled, he voiced Matsudaira of Gintama, the old head of shinsenggumi and Deus X Machina from Mirai Nikki.
Kana Hanazawa
She has a very lovely voice and she's cute IRL. She gave life to a lot of my favorite characters.
Miyano Mamoru
He had a sexy voice, it's a weird compliment coming from a guy but it's true, some of the characters he performed are Okabe Rintarou, Kida Masaomi, Death The Kid, and a lot more.

It's "heard" smart guy and you don't need the "to" also. Alas Mr. Wolowitz isn't exactly as smart as he thinks he is :) Feel free to label this post as spam as I have already achieved my purpose with this post and that is to put this guy in his place.
