It feels good. Especially when people ask for your picture. The more people ask for your pic, it means your cosplay is good and that they know the character you are portraying. You would momentarily feel like a celebrity, but that's just momentarily.

Its really fun, totoo na nakakakaba pero masaya kapag naa-appreciate ng ibang tao ung cosplay mo. Nag cosplay na ko dati pero i stopped since im gaining weight XD and im into video editing now XD

Basically Cosplay, for me, is for self gratification. It's actually not solely for the others enjoyment, but it's also for yourself.
You cosplay cause you want to. You want to be a character. You want to change even though it's just a short period of time.
At the end of the day, it's not how many people liked your cosplay, or how many awards you get. It's how great and satisfied you feel afterwards.
When I was a cosplayer before, I live by the motto
"I cosplay to express, not to impress"
Just my 2 cents btw :3
