Fairy Tail Creator Mashima: Anime Is Not Over Yet
Fairy Tail manga creator Hiro Mashima noted on Thursday that although this week's issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine said that the anime is ending, "it's actually not over yet. I can't say more than this, but I hope you watch the rerun starting in April and wait for the day I can announce some good news." He added in English, "Anime is not the end. Don't stop believing."
Fairy Tail will begin its weekly Thursday rerun on April 4 at 5:30 p.m. under the title Fairy Tail Best!
Kodansha's TV Magazine had revealed last Friday that the anime's television broadcast run will end on March 30. However, Mashima said on Saturday, "Until the time comes, I cannot say something I've always wanted to say, even on Twitter. Please be patient and wait until the time comes for me to announce some good news.

Wait, but I read this yesterday. It says that the reason why it will is that; it will probably catch up with the manga within around 10 episodes? and here's the other reason.
Aya Hirano, everyone knows her, if you don’t, now you do. She’s
Lucy’s seiyuu (Voice Actress). Quite a while ago she was caught up in a
pretty bad scandal which led to pretty much the downfall of her voice
acting career. Anyways, voice actors tend to have contracts (to avoid
any unfair stuff from happening to their job/pay/work/etc). Now, Aya
Hirano was completely BANNED from being in anime and this is CONFIRMED.
Her contract for Fairy Tail probably was cut or finished at the end of
winter season, meaning Lucy would be missing a voice, thus causing the
end of the anime. They’ll most likely wait at least a good 3-6 months
before re-airing the show.
Along with that, they’ll 99% find a new voice actress for Lucy, someone who probably will sound VERY similar to the old Lucy.
