Windows 8

As what I've stated in the Title " Windows 8 "
sino ang gumagamit ng windows 8 ngayon?, pwede ba makahingi ng feed back, or description regarding to Windows 8..

I'm using windows 8 on my desktop, maganda naman pero kung sa netbook hindi siya compatible my required screen resolution, maganda siya gamitin sa mga touch screen monitor pero kahit hindi touchscreen ok naman. nakakalito lang minsan yung mga shortcut, para sa akin mas maganda parin ang windows 7. :)

Well my Networking Professor said, Windows 8 is actually designed for Tablets.

Disadvantages of Windows 8:

-since it's new, there must be a lot of Bugs.
-Less Compatible Software

Recommended siya alam ko as touch screen laptops, netbooks, computers etc. etc. Because kapag hindi touchscreen parang sayang lang ang Windows 8 mo. Hindi fully-enjoyable.

So I recommend Windows 7 on non-touchscreen platforms.

nakita ko na environment ng windows 8 hindi talaga siya naka design sa laptop tsaka mahirap siya gamitin dun sa mga gusto mag try ng windows 8 suggest ko na mag download kayo ng virtual PC then download nyo yung ISO ng windows 8 yung ISO nya downloadable sa offcial site ng microsoft

I already tried Windows 8. Nung una nalupitan ako eh pero nung tumagal ayoko na kasi di ako sanay sa start button at tsaka laptop nga lang naman gamit ko XD kaya I reverted back to Windows 7

Negative sakin ang Windows 8

...as above posts have said....maganda lang ang winodws 8 sa touch screen...tapos mahihirapan ka din maghanap ng mga compatible applications since bago palangsiya...

I've personally used windows 8, but after some time I decided to switch back to windows 7 (personal reasons).

well here's my opinion about it:

windows 8 Pros and Cons

Pros:
-Ultra fast boot-time (my LOW-END pc boots in less than 30secs)
-Optimized ram usage
-"User-Friendly" task manager
-Most windows 7 compatible software are also compatible with it
-Most hardware manufacturers are now releasing softwares and drivers for windows 8

Cons:
-Minimum Screen resolution for Windows 8 is 1024x768. You need a screen resolution of 1366x768 to be able to use all of the screen features.

-It still has a lot of bugs(some programs/apps would just close for no apparent reason. Some programs/apps won't run after being clicked multiple times)

-If you're not using a a tablet PC or a touchscreen monitor then going through the start screen will be a pain in the @ss because most of the program shortcuts are on the start screen).



well that's my opinion, if you want more information you can watch videos of windows 8 users on youtube.

Windows 8 is for tablet's only, choosy kc yan even sa mga Games, prang ung unang released lng ng Win Vista... :)

Di kopa na try ang windows 8. Pero daming negative feedback. May review sa mga top OS.
Same raw sa vista ang 8. Full of bugs raw. At yung interface nya is from their mobile version. Yung windows phone 8.
Ranked 2 lang ang windows 8. Ranked 1 is Ubuntu 12.10.
Personally gamit ko ngayon ang Ubuntu LTS 12.04.
Maganda nga sya. Tapos virus free pa no need anti virus. Boot less than 20 seconds on Pentium 4 2.4 ghz (yan gamit ko ngayon). At mga 5-10 seconds sa mga faster hardwares.
Pero if gamer ka stick to windows nalang. Konte pa kase games sa Ubuntu.
Try mo lang. Free to download sya at pwede mo i run sya gamit lang USB without the need to install on your PC.
