[Signature Tutorial] Simple Texture Based Signature

Hi Minna~! This is my first Tutorial here so, i am apologizing beforehand if something is not clear. You can guys comment about it. :bd:

I'll show you how i created this Signature:

(this was a Signature i created for KƎNIƆHII)

1. First, i saved a random background stock and used it as the main background.

Place it the way you wanted.

2. Next, i used this Texture Pack and grabbed the 3rd texture to be placed over the main background, set the opacity of this texture to 90% after you had placed it in the center of the place you wanted to put the render we will be using later.

3. It's time to place the Render, go get the Render and place it where you had placed the center of the second texture we used.
Just like what i've done with this one.

4. Time to make a little distortion effect with the Render, duplicate the Render, making it overlap the original. Move it a bit with your arrow keys and set the opacity by 60-55%. It would become distorted with lines right? Now use the eraser tool to delete the part with the face, so it would appear clearer.

5. Time for the enhancements! Get this Texture Pack and use the SIXTH texture and place it at the left side of the Signature, behind the render. Set it on Soft Light and delete the edges to make it mix with the background.

6. Next, use this Light Texture Pack and place the second texture repeatedly around the signature. Delete the unwanted part with the eraser tool and set the fill and opacity 70-75% to make it look like this:

7. Time for the texts! Place the texts that you want!
I personally used The American Captain Font for the main text and the pre-installed MS UI Gothic for the Japanese sub-text. I duplicated the texts moved the original downward right to create a thick 3D-like stroke below.

8. Second to the last! Use bokeh or even a simple light texture as lighting effects!
I used THIS, in case you want the same as mine and set it on Linear Dodge (Add).

9. Last one! THE COLORING!
I created my personal PSD Coloring, plainly a Photo Filter to Deep Red, a little Vibrance, deepening the Curves and Hue and Saturation set to Red Adjustment Layers to get this final output:

Nice Tutorial like the visual aid :3 thank you uploader now need to dl photoshop.. can i apply this in any version adobe photoshop .smoke

Yes sir! It can be applicable in any versions that had the same image and filter options for accurate adjustments. Versions CS3 and up is good.

I love it how you adjusted the colors. Keep it up!
And did you not put a little sparkles purposefully? Add some little sparkles by using a soft brush and set the blending options to Linear Dodge~
