Hey TNMAA! My 1st post here. Well 2nd actually after my my introduction.

Anyway, may mga hunters ba d2? ano version ng MH and nilalaro nyo?
MHP3rd sakn...

Share nyo naman ang fave weapons, armor sets and maybe experience nyo sa MH.

Switch axe, great sword, hammer, light bowgun, at bow user nga pala ako and here are my armor sets:

THUNDER
sharpness+1,thunder element+2,speed sharpening,atk up small
damascus set(blademaster) gemmed w/ atk +
charm: thunder atk+5, sharpness+4
(if u have 2 slot thunder weapon u can squeeze the atk + up to Atk Up Medium)

FIRE
high grade earplug, atk up large, destructor, fire element+1
1 slot fire weapon (atk+1)
dobol s helm (atk+1)
dobol s mail (atk +1)
akantor sakunpe (hearing+4)
akantor ikkeku
akantor kemal (bash+1)
charm: hearing+2, atk+10

ICE
ice element+2, atk up medium,mind's eye,stinger, razor sharp
ukanlos sakupake (sharpness+1, atk+1)
ukanlos urunte (atk+5)
silver sol vambraces (atk+5)
silver sol faulds (fencing+1,fencing+1)
ukanlos kemal (ice atk+3)
charm:sharpness+5,ice atk+8
(this set is great for ukanlos weapons)

there are more armor sets i've made, e2 lang kasi matandaan ko ^^

note: those are uber charms i'm using that i spent hundred of hours just to find them. meron nmn mga c***t sa game na2, pero mas gusto ko kasi mghanap ng random charm tpos gawan ng armor sets.

pde rin kau mgrequest sakn ng armor set sa kung anong available na charm ang meron kau.

well, since naunlock muna si alatreon ibig sabihin accessible kna sa lahat ng armors, except alatreon ofcourse. Nagfafarm knaba ng uber charms? ito guide para sa charm farming.

Nung unang beses kung kinalaban ang alatreon gamit ko lang at narga GS at silver sol(silver rathalos) set ko. pero ito na ngayun ang alatreon killer set ko:

weapon: island of the gods (gunnery+2)
head:barrage piercing
body:acorn s vest (atk+1)
hand:silver sol guards (atk+5)
waist:silver sol coat (atk+3)
legs:silver sol leggings (blow+4)
charm: normal s up +5, gunnery +6
skills:load up, gunnery king, atk up med, stinger, at normal s booster

25 mins ako sa alatreon gamit yan, at hindi pa ako pro LBG user nyan ha...

I'm a hunter...at present as well. Craving more on MH3U on the 3DS but doesn't matter because I'm already spoiled much on the skills, armor sets, monsters etc.

As for the PSP, I'm still playing 3rd and 2nd G patched (not Unite..because of its less blood and nerfed AI). I'm more on 2nd G at present.

So one of my favorite monsters in 3rd is Deviljho. He is my most hunted in my Guild Card.

hoo~ the last village quest in 3rd. i had troubles with that on first attempt but i did finish it. whats funny bout that quest is it was tigrex who killed nargacuga...yes tigrex is a freaking last hitter!!! XD

@Zinogre: Yep! Tigger is my last bout before clearing the quest. XD Then..after that I do solo hunting like Akantor, Ukanlos and Alatreon with the G-Level a.k.a download version as well. XD It was fun especially with using all weapons to them at the same time make it even perfect.

Ano yan...solo player ka o may kasama?

I played MHFU and MHP3rd

My favorite weapon in MHFU was HBG. I finished 90% of all my quest with my Lao-shan Cannon + Auto-reload set. I think I reached High Rank (HR5 or HR6 something), not sure though. My felyne is bomb-type. \m/

In MHP3rd, my favorite weapon is Bow and Switch Axe. I have 4 Bows and Switch Axes for each element. I rarely use Hammer, Long Sword and LBG. My set for Bow is from Barioth while for Switch Axe is like a costume for Halloween. I'm currently at 2nd level quest at the second lady. And and! My favorite Felyne is support-type. :)

Anyway, since this topic is about Monster Hunter, anong magandang skill ilagay as LS user? Wala pa akong alam kung ano ilagay ko sa Jinouga S set at Storm set ko.

Sa ngayon, ginagawa ko, nag-fafarm ng pale extract sa high rank... If you know what I mean.

sorry di ko maopen ang nasa spoiler tag mo. But according to ur conversation, your using pure set huh? like silver sol and the elder dragon armors. Well there's nothing wrong with that as long as you got the right weapon and talisman.

'bout ur question, best skill for melee weapons would be sharpness+1 unless ur using narga and alatreon weapons. And ur armor, maybe a talisman with thunder+ for jin set and water+ for storm set. It depends what weapon ur using.

hmmm... now that I think about it, would u guys want me to make a "talisman farming guide"? since the guide I provide above is not complete. and I gathered some interesting info on uber talisman...

- Silver Wyvern LS + Dark Akantor set + Dragon Talisman = Fire Element +2, HG Earplug, Ruiner and Exploiter.
- Ukanlos Slicer LS + Ukanlos set = Ice Element +2, Exploiter, ESP and Sharp Sword. (NO NEED FOR TALISMANS)
- Lightning Striker LS + Jinouga S set = Thunder Element +2, Unleashed +2, Evasion Up and Taunt. (I NEED TALISMANS)
- Shark Decapitator LS + Storm set = Water Element +2, Unleashed +2 and Sharpness +1. (I NEED TALISMANS)

At ang favorite set ko...

- Demon Tetsusaiga LS + Silver Sol set + Dragon Talisman = Atk Up (L), Exploiter, Concentration, Runner and Sharp Sword. (Am I doing it right?)

uu maganda ok ang mga set nayan except for your ukan set. The ukan slicer has -20% affinity, minus 25%(iirc) sa damage yan pag ng critical. You'll be needing atleast reckless abandon+2. Well since it has exploiter it won't matter if you're hitting the right spot...

Basta maging compatible lang yung mga skills mo at yung weapon na gamit mo. XD

Pag LS kasi, kakailanganin mo ng Evade+1/+2/Evade Distance, Ruiner para makabasag kaagad ng parts na kailangan mong basagin, Concentration pag gusto mong mapuno yung spirit gauge/kung mahilig ka talaga mag-spirit (R1), Exploiter pag target mo yung weak point ng monster with more critical hits, Attack Up (mostly large) para mas malakas yung attack power mo - para magcombine sa Power Charm-Power Talon-Felyne Attack Up-Attack Up Recital (Hunting Horn), Reckless Abandon kung gusto mo ng palaging may crit yung attack mo (more effects), High-Grade Earplus para hindi ka mabingi sa lahat ng mga monsters o Extra-Sensory Perception o ESP para iwas-talbog sa matitigas na parts.

Pwede ka din gumamit ng mga Elemental Attack Ups + Fire/Water/Thunder/Ice/Dragon Attack +2 para mas malakas yung weapon na may elemental attack. Nagpapatong yung Elemental ATtack up at yung mga +2 na kahit anong element.

Now the choice is up to you~ Mas maganda kung mixed set ang gawin mo para makagawa ka ng magagandang skills na gusto mo at para magamit mo yung Sword Saint Piercing (ESP - Head).

@ayato: I'm a GS mainer so I never really needed defensive armor skills. I always go for attack stacking like sharpness+1, atk up, elemental up, etc,.

@mythical020: wow HBG user ka? isn't it hard to use? I mean most long range hunters would use LBG or bow, they only go fir HBG when they're in a group.

OH and I'm also a solo hunter, kya nga ginawa ko ang thread na to, baka makahanap ako ng hunter na gusto makipag hunting quest in group with me...

@SacredEdge wow GL user! ngpapraktis din ako ng GL, so far completo na elemental GL ko. Pero kainis lang kasi halos lahat ng GL ay walang slot.

Oh yeah september nah ang release ng MH4! I can't for it to come out!



andaming LS user d2. Pero alam niyo ba na karamihan sa mga pro ay hindi gusto ang LS? Kesyo daw masyado itong malakas lalo na't may spirit bar ito at hindi na raw "challenging". Not that I'm telling you not to use LS, all I'm saying is explore the other weapons. ^_^

co-worker ko.. para mag co-op mission (4players)
ang team:
HR7- GreatSword user ung weapon nasa cover ng MH tri G/ultimate (forgot the name)
HR:5- Gunlance : same as above
HR4- Long Sword : rathalos LS? (i forot..)
HR3- me...

And i'll look forward to the MH4 as well my good friend :3

Did you know po ang MHTri G ( 3ds? version) ay merong collaboration? Merong din pong special costume base po sa sikat na anime na "Shingeki no kyojin"?

(Confession: I havent watched it..Yet i heard some good expectation of it.. i'll

abou your trivia, I can't read Japanese but I think that will be a DLC content like with Metal Gear's Solid Snake armor.

with practice you can deal with almost all monsters. Yan palagi ko sinasabi para maconvince ang mga co gamers ko but well, I think its not just for them.
