CG animation what do you think?.

Cg animation seems to be popping up in alot of action and mecha anime these days and i wanted to hear some other peoples opinions do you thin its good or bad in certain conditions and the way its used?.
For me i don't like it all to much i like it when it is mostly hand drawn it seems like cg is the cheap way out so they don't have to really spend that much time animated certain parts.
But in other cases when done right it can look good in backgrounds.
But when i watch a mecha genre series i don't want the very most important thing = being the mech usually, it kind of ruins it for me
in that way.

It seems like it's just another one of anime's evolution, but still I really wish they could just cut the crap .. everything is so much better on Paperz

It's not that bad but it will be foreshadowed by the classic Anime's that doesn't use this kind of technology.

Either make it all CG or all Hand drawn..when animators sneak CG in hand drawn scenes, it feels like a cop out. One prime example is Slam Dunk and Dear Boys. In slam dunk the motion of the ball going through the hoop is always hand drawn while it is always cg animated in dear boys and it is bothersome as hell.

handdrawn is still the suitable choice, but if someone uses CG, they should know if that ideas of theirs would kick out on the minds of the watchers.

they should keep in mind to use the right animation, rather than using an animation just to fasten up the showing of episodes of animes to satisfy the watchers, making the end results really, really bad.

Oo ayoko din ng cg lalo na yung sa Infinite Stratos pag lumayo sila biglang nagiging cg ehh masmaganda naman tignan ang hand DRAW!!

I think CG animation looks great imo. Cguro hindi pa maxadong marami ang npanood kung CG animation kaya ito ang opinion ko. katulad nlang ng berserk, for me the animation was stunning, though this is just me being biased cuz ima long time fan of the berserk manga.
